THE ROLE
Davis Ad Agency is looking for a Digital Media Buyer & Strategist to join our team in Virginia Beach.

As part of our media team, you’ll combine smart strategy, hands-on campaign management and data-driven optimization to create work that performs. You’ll work across a diverse mix of clients, including some of the region’s most recognizable brands and organizations.

This is an in-person position based in Virginia Beach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Digital Media Buyer & Strategist, you’ll help shape how and where our clients connect with their target audiences – from developing media strategies and plans to launching, managing and optimizing campaigns.

You’ll work across paid search, YouTube, programmatic display and video, using data and performance insights to continually improve campaign performance.

You’ll also collaborate closely with our media, creative, social and account teams to connect media strategy to the bigger picture – our clients’ goals, audiences, creative and overall marketing strategy.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Developing digital media recommendations, channel strategies and budget allocations based on client goals, audiences and performance data

Planning, launching and managing campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic display and video, and other digital channels

Monitoring and optimizing campaigns to improve performance and maximize client budgets

Analyzing campaign and website data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights

Managing tracking and measurement to ensure campaigns are set up to capture the right conversions

Building clear, meaningful reports that go beyond the numbers to explain what’s working, what isn’t and what we should do next

Staying current on new platforms, tools, technology and changes across the digital advertising landscape

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Hands-on experience with Google Ads, including Search, Display and YouTube

Knowledge of programmatic display and video platforms

Ability to build and manage reporting in Looker Studio

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights

Organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to take ownership of your work while collaborating effectively as part of a team

You have an understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking

You have familiarity with Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager and Local Services Ads

You’ve managed paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Reddit

You’ve worked at an agency
