Senior Amazon Advertising Manager

MOX · Tampa, FL, USA ·

Job type:
Seasonal

About MOXĒ

MOXĒ is a rapidly growing consumer-products company that develops and manufactures natural scent products designed to enhance everyday routines. Our products are sold through Amazon, Target.com, Walmart, specialty retailers and independent stores across the country.

We manufacture our products in-house in Tampa, giving our team direct control over product development, inventory and growth. Amazon is currently our largest sales channel, and we are bringing performance advertising management in-house across our major e-commerce platforms.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Marketplace & Performance Marketing Manager to own paid advertising across Amazon, Walmart, Target.com and Meta.

Amazon will be the primary focus of this position. The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on Amazon advertising experience and enough knowledge of Walmart Connect, Target’s retail-media ecosystem and Meta Ads to manage and grow those channels effectively.

This is not an agency-management or reporting-only role. You will personally manage campaigns, analyze performance, make regular optimizations and determine how advertising budgets should be allocated across platforms.

You should understand how paid advertising connects with organic ranking, conversion, pricing, promotions, inventory, creative performance and contribution profit.

Applicants without direct, hands-on experience managing Amazon advertising for a seven-figure Seller Central or Vendor Central business will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

Amazon Advertising and Marketplace Growth

Personally manage and optimize Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video and Sponsored Display campaigns

Build advertising strategies by product, keyword, category, customer search behavior and profitability

Manage campaign structure, keyword research, bids, budgets, placements and negative targeting

Analyze search-term, search-query, placement and competitive performance

Improve profitable sales growth while managing TACOS, ACOS and contribution margin

Develop advertising strategies for new-product launches and product variations

Identify opportunities to improve organic ranking, share of voice and category position

Coordinate advertising with pricing, promotions, inventory availability and retail events

Evaluate listing conversion and recommend improvements to images, video, copy, A+ Content and Brand Store pages

Forecast advertising spend and performance by product and campaign

Walmart and Target.com

Manage paid search and retail-media campaigns supporting MOXĒ products on Walmart.com and Target.com

Build keyword, product-targeting and competitive strategies appropriate to each marketplace

Monitor advertising efficiency, sales velocity, conversion and return on ad spend

Coordinate campaigns with retailer promotions, new-product launches and seasonal opportunities

Identify opportunities to improve product-page content and conversion

Track platform-specific performance while maintaining a consolidated view of total marketplace profitability

Work with internal sales and operations teams to align advertising with inventory and retailer objectives

Meta Advertising

Manage Meta advertising across Facebook and Instagram

Build and optimize prospecting, retargeting and customer-retention campaigns

Develop campaign structures, audiences, budgets and testing strategies

Coordinate with internal and external creative resources to produce and test new advertising concepts

Evaluate creative performance, landing-page conversion, customer-acquisition cost and return on ad spend

Use performance data to determine which offers, products, messages and creative formats should be expanded

Maintain accurate tracking through Meta Pixel, Conversions API and relevant attribution tools

Support promotional campaigns, new-product launches and customer acquisition for MOXĒ’s direct-to-consumer business

Analytics and Business Management

Allocate advertising budgets across channels based on growth potential and contribution profit

Create clear weekly and monthly reporting focused on insights, actions and financial results

Monitor customer-acquisition cost, ROAS, TACOS, ACOS, conversion rate and contribution margin

Identify inefficient spending and redirect budgets toward higher-return opportunities

Develop performance forecasts and measurable channel goals

Monitor competitors, category trends and changes across advertising platforms

Work directly with company leadership, operations, sales and creative teams

Manage outside agencies or specialized contractors when additional support is appropriate

Required Qualifications

At least four years of hands-on performance-marketing experience

Deep experience personally managing Amazon advertising for an established consumer brand or significant agency portfolio

Experience managing a seven-figure Amazon business or a comparable portfolio of client accounts

Demonstrated experience with at least one additional platform, preferably Meta Ads or Walmart Connect

Strong command of Seller Central, Amazon Ads Console and Amazon advertising reports

Direct experience with Walmart Connect

Experience with Target’s retail-media or sponsored-product advertising ecosystem

Experience managing Meta advertising for a consumer-products or e-commerce brand
