French Meadows · Sebastopol, CA, USA ·

Job type:
Seasonal

About Us French Meadows is a boutique fashion brand specializing in corsetry, leatherwork, and fantasy-inspired garments. We're known for our fantasy and cottagecore inspired clothing and costumes that can be worn to Renaissance Faires as well as daily life. We value attention to craftsmanship, size inclusivity, and never ending whimsy. We're looking for an Assistant Fashion Designer & Production Coordinator to work closely with the head designer in shaping, evolving, and executing our creative vision across design, production, media, and customer-facing channels.
Role Overview The Assistant Fashion Designer & Production Coordinator will shadow and support the CEO in day-to-day creative and production tasks. This role blends fashion design expertise with creative direction, digital content creation, and hands-on production management. You will develop new garment collections, plan and execute seasonal creative campaigns, curate our online presence, and keep production on track by coordinating with manufacturers, preparing tech packs, tracking shipments, and overseeing inventory. The ideal candidate is fluent in design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and Procreate, with a strong background in fashion design or apparel construction and a love of historical fashion.
We are a small team and occasionally need help with packing orders and customer service emails. The right candidate is okay with wearing many hats and stepping in wherever is needed to keep operations running. We work very closely together in a laid back, collaborative and creative environment.
