Selectek is hiring: Mechanical Designer in Bessemer

Selectek is partnering with a firm near Bessemer, Alabama  to hire a Mechanical Designer  on a direct hire basis. Candidates will create HVAC and Plumbing designs, including ductwork and isometric diagrams in Revit. Expected Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience and certification Location: Bessemer, AL Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p Job Duties: •   Design facility HVAC & Plumbing Systems for commercial /healthcare buildings. •   Perform Calculation and studies for sizing HVAC Systems and Sizing plumbing systems •   Design and layout water and drainage systems piping and isometric diagrams •   Design the HVAC Ductwork and hydronic system piping and isometric diagrams Job Requirements: - 3+  years  of experience in mechanical design - Proficiency with Revit - Experience with AutoCAD (2D and 3D) - Knowledge of all NEC In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
