We are looking for talented UI/UX Software Engineers with active TS/SCI (full-scope poly) to design and implement web-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders and management to gather requirements, take the lead on technical challenges, and mentor junior team members. In this role, you should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide detailed technical analysis. Join a team of experienced engineers that love working with the latest technologies, enjoy hands-on development, and strive to build the best solutions to meet our users needs.What you will be doing:Providing significant ground up UI/UX guidance, leading the design of web-based applicationsDesigning completely new solutions, or modernizing existing applicationsDeveloping quick UI prototypes when necessary to showcase next-gen featuresWriting clean, professional code, and encouraging others to do the sameAnalyzing user experience, interactions, and usability to develop effective interfacesDriving consistency through component reuse, themeing, and style guidesCollaborating with other engineers on system architecture, UI/UX concerns, and other application design elementsDesigning low and high fidelity mockups and wireframes that illustrate user interactionsTroubleshooting and debugging technical issuesSharing technical knowledge with other developersWhat you will not be doing:Spending your days writing user documentation, or designing powerpointsSimply installing and integrating COTS productsWorking with stagnant technologiesWriting status reports or justifying career-goal metricsTechnical Skills:15+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience in a front-end or full-stack capacityExtensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Less/Sass), and modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc)Experience designing high-fidelity wireframes, mockups and other UI prototypesExtensive knowledge of REST APIs, JSON processing, JSON Web TokensExperience with NPM, Node.jsKnowledge of advanced web topics, worker threads, web sockets, storage APIsKnowledge of OO design patterns and software architectural patternsFamiliarity with linux operating systemsFamiliarity with AWS services and cloud deploymentsWhat youll need:Active US Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI with active poly)Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsWillingness to take on challenges and learn new thingsDesire to be at the forefront of your fieldAbility to work individually or in groupsBS/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
