The Amazon Advertising Finance team is on the lookout for a talented Finance Manager to work closely with the Advertising business. This role is vital in creating engaging and effective creative experiences across the Amazon Ads portfolio, including Display and Streaming TV ad formats, Interactive Video Ads, and Creative Personalization.
As a senior finance leader within the Advertising Creative organization, you will support essential initiatives, partnering with senior product, engineering, science, and sales leaders to drive growth in our advertising products.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a finance leader for the Creative product and engineering teams, guiding strategic initiatives through planning, business modeling, and financial analysis.
- Oversee entire projects or significant components, ensuring effective data gathering, analysis, and clear communication of insights and recommendations.
- Develop and track business metrics to evaluate the operational and financial health of the business, optimizing advertiser segments and supply-based metrics.
- Influence cross-organizational strategies and decisions without direct authority, working collaboratively across various teams and geographies.
About the team: The Amazon Advertising finance department collaborates with business teams to analyze advertiser insights, validate the financial impact of investments, and enforce controllership across the organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- 5+ years in multiple finance and accounting roles.
- 5+ years applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- 5+ years developing financial and operational reports that support business decision-making.
- 5+ years in continuous improvement projects to enhance controllership with measurable results.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, business, or a quantitative role, including 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 6+ years identifying and resolving data inaccuracies and implementing plans for escalation.
- 6+ years solving complex business challenges with impactful financial models and analyses.
- MBA or CPA.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and financial systems.
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with thorough interpretation of results.

The base salary range for this position is as follows: $104,900.00 - $179,500.00 USD annually. Your Amazon compensation package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final pay determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
