The Role: As our first marketing hire, you will be responsible for building and executing a marketing strategy from the ground up. You’ll have a broad scope, spanning brand positioning, content marketing, demand generation, and customer education. You’ll work closely with our founders, sales, and product teams to create a compelling narrative that differentiates Gitar.ai in a crowded market.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute a marketing strategy that drives awareness, demand, and adoption of Gitar.ai

Establish our brand positioning and messaging to clearly articulate our value proposition

Create and manage content marketing efforts, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership

Experiment with different demand generation tactics (SEO, paid ads, partnerships, events, etc.) to identify what works

Build and scale a pipeline of high-quality leads through targeted campaigns and outbound efforts

Develop marketing assets that support sales, including decks, one‑pagers, and customer stories

Hire and manage external freelancers, agencies, or future team members as needed

Own and optimize our website, ensuring it effectively communicates our product and converts visitors

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally with a focus on developer tools or enterprise software

Experience building a marketing function from scratch or working in a fast‑paced startup environment

Strong storytelling skills—you can craft compelling narratives that resonate with technical and business audiences

Hands‑on experience with demand generation, content marketing, and growth strategies

A data‑driven mindset with the ability to measure and optimize marketing performance

A self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to experiment and iterate quickly
