Slicedbread is looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team to help our clients’ rapid growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Perform technical on-page SEO
2. Link building and digital outreach
3. Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
4. Performing ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
5. Researching and implementing content recommendations for SEO success
6. Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
7. Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
8. Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
9. Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy

Qualifications and Skills

1. 3+ years of proven SEO work experience
2. Experience in link building
3. Strong keyword research experience
4. Previous agency work at an SEO position
5. Knowledge of Shopify (backend and development)
6. Solid Google Analytics
7. Solid Google Search Console
8. Thorough knowledge of Screaming Frog
9. Xpath
10. Advanced Excel

1. Strong understanding of the digital advertising and e-commerce landscape as well as related platforms.
2. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to track competing priorities and multiple projects.
3. Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
4. The ability to read documentation / find answers to common problems.
5. Stay current on the latest advertising trends and tools.
6. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently; a self-starter who can take the initiative and be responsible for achieving assigned tasks with little oversight.
7. Sense of humor, a certain amount of maturity, vision, humility, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
8. Energetic, goal-driven, professional with excellent work ethic.
