The Department offers a variety of courses, including a new major in Music Technology and academic minors in Dance Studies, Dance Performance and Choreography, Music Studies, Music Performance, and Arts Entrepreneurship. Position Overview
The Department of Performing Arts and Technology at North Carolina State University seeks applications for part-time lecturers in music theory, aural skills, musicology, and ethnomusicology to provide semester-long instruction in a classroom setting. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses, grading, and mentoring students. University classes typically meet 2-3 times weekly for 3 hours.
Please note: This position is part-time and is based on need and availability. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates should specify their academic area(s) of expertise.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience: Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Other Required Qualifications: Experience working with music students at the collegiate level.
Required License(s) or Certification(s): Valid NC Driver's License required.
