The Screen Rant and CBR YouTube channels are seeking freelance video script writers to create engaging, informative, and timely video scripts for our video platforms.
Ideal candidates should be able to write video scrips (including commentary) on the latest movie, TV, video game, comic book, and pop culture topics.

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following qualifications:
Relevant experience in writing and editing - prior experience writing scripts for an online video channel preferred. Research skills and extensive knowledge of published comics, genre film and television, video games, and other geek-friendly categories - including knowledge of the industry, franchise histories, and other related topics.
Our channels require dedicated writers - who are able to contribute regularly, work under tight deadlines, and deliver accurate, as well as insightful, information on a strict production schedule.
The positions are open to anyone over the age of 18. This is a paid-per-post contract position.

Send us 2 or 3 links to past work but ONLY if they are relevant to TV, movies, comic books, and video games coverage. If you were writing in a different field - or have not written video script content, we need new script samples to look over. Do not send us short stories, poetry, food reviews, lifestyle pieces, or other writing samples that are non-movie/TV/gaming/comics. Any samples that do not adhere to these guidelines - or any applications without samples will not be considered.
