The business is growing rapidly. Over those 12 years, we've created a lot of content. A lot. From our roots in personal finance and psychology, we’ve branched out into entrepreneurship, careers, relationships, productivity and many other topics.

We're seeking a chef a la content, a high-caliber content marketer who can take these 12 years of home-grown ingredients and whip up new and tantalizing dishes for our readers. And yes, create some original content of their own, too.

Our content has a reputation. A good one. People come to us when they're sick of all the vapid clickbait and hollow listicles you can find all over the web. They share our material because it delivers real value. We pride ourselves on giving away 98% of our material for free -- and for making our free material better than other people's paid content.

That's where you come in. We're looking for a star Content Marketer to join a team dedicated to driving organic growth on You'll have a direct and daily impact on the quality and quantity of content we share, as well as the growth of the business.

This isn't a new blog. And trust us, all the low-hanging fruit has been picked. The big wins will require a lot of effort, plenty of testing, collaboration and creativity. You'll need to be experienced in content marketing, as well as a swift and excellent writer, to succeed in this role.



Our ideal candidate has experience in the following:

  • Short- and long-copy writing
  • Writing and editing to a variety of brands/styles
  • The fundamentals of sales and conversion
  • Solid SEO chops
  • Results-driven content marketing for mid- to large-sized sites

You should come in the door with an impressive portfolio of work -- and results.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You should be able to write internal memos so crisp and clear that we forward them to others as examples of how to communicate.

Most of all, you should be able to write and edit engaging, effective content in the IWT voice. (Can you fool us?)



  • At least 2-3 years experience
  • Ability to work in a remote environment (this isn't easy)
  • Excellent writing samples
  • Must be US based
