Paste Magazine is seeking a full-time writer/editor for its Music section in New York City.

Are you someone who keeps an eye on all the latest releases? Can't wait to hear the new albums by Wu-Tang Clan, Morrissey, Shamir and U2? Do you love reading and writing profiles of the world's biggest musicians? Are you always nudging your friends to go back and discover The Who or Big Star? Come work at Paste, where we eat, sleep and breath music 24/7!

Our new dual-action writer and editor will contribute a handful of articles each week, including but not limited to trend essays, reported features, artist interviews, album reviews, and retrospective articles on the history of pop music. He/she will also assist in the editing of Paste's music coverage and in the hosting of our daily live Studio Session performances. (That's right: We have our own NYC recording studio.)

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in web-based music journalism, with strong writing skills, a sharp eye for grammar and style, and a limitless brainful of big ideas based on the music news and trends of the day. Ability to work on deadline is a must, as is a natural radar for what our readers want to see and how best to deliver it to them on and our various social-media feeds.
