We are looking for a dedicated freelance writer and reporter for Food Dive, a leading digital business publication covering the food and grocery sector. We're in search of someone who can write insightful news and feature stories about the food and grocery business. The ideal candidate will be able to succinctly communicate the significance of news developments in short articles while spinning bigger-picture story ideas into compelling narratives for a business audience. (We do not do restaurant reviews.) 

Job Expectations:

  • Up to 10 weekly news briefs
  • 2-3 monthly feature articles

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven writing and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of current food and grocery business trends
  • Ability to interpret and analyze business concepts, industry trends, and major news stories
  • Deadline-oriented time-management skills
  • Strong digital news knowledge
  • At least one year of experience writing on the food and/or grocery business
