Assists the event and corporate sales groups with larger or more complicated orders, helping create accurate and on trend proposals and prototypes.Follow up with event & corporate sales groups to receive feedback and ensure the customer was satisfied with services provided.Works closely with the event and corporate sales groups to ensure the client's vision is being met and pricing is standardized and up to date. Follow up with event & corporate sales groups to receive feedback and ensure the customer was satisfied with services provided.Reviews designs going out to evaluate product quality, consistency and accuracy.During the holiday decor season, traditionally October through January, the Event Production Lead will step into scheduling installations and dismantles while the Event Production Manager moves into focusing on managing the Holiday Decor team and scheduling installations and dismantles for the Holiday Decor installations. Event Production Manager will still remain responsible for the happenings of the events department and the management of the event team. But the lead will take on the daily responsibility of scheduling installations, dismantles and more of the daily tasks to ensure events and holiday installations have a point person and attention of a lead or manager.Coordinates floral substitutions with flower buyer and sales team to provide suggestions and assist with substitution solutions that work for the client, budget and quality assurance.Requirements
1-3 Years of experience in event production2+ Year of professional floral design (full-time or freelance), events design preferred.Guest service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customer. Keeps calm and solution-focused when problems arisePossesses high work motivation, commitment, follow through, initiative and achievementStrong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.Strong organization and project/time management skillsAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projectsKnowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resourcesOvertime, nights and weekends requiredAbility to travel (approximately 25%)Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbsProficiency in floral design. An eye for creativity, color and design as well as extensive knowledge of florals and trends.Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, RTI as well as the ability to learn and utilize new computer software programs.
