Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per yearA bit about us:The firm’s expertise spans a wide array of project types, including multi-family and single-family residential, commercial, education/institutional and hospitality.Why join us?benefits, PTO, and other perks!Job DetailsResponsibilitiesPartner closely with interior design team and work under the direction of Interior Design DirectorManages projects and leads team(s), performs schematic design work, participates in design control of projects in the design development/construction document phase, and is responsible for project budget managementInterface with clients, contractors, and consultants; lead project meetings and client presentationsAble to delegate as well as mentor/train intermediate and junior interior designers Generates concepts for interiors projects, such as furniture and equipment planning, special design concepts and requirements, floor plan analysis, condition of building site, personal property, integrated structural components, mechanical and electrical and visual design concepts including material selectionProvide creative support on projects, including but not limited to research, material sourcing and specification, furniture sourcing, presentation development (graphic, visual, and technical), and FF&E purchasing, tracking and installation coordination Conducts routine checking and/ or verification tasks and performs other duties as assigned QualificationsTen (10) years or more of interior design experience, preferably in high-end and/or multi – family residential, hospitality, or commercial projects w/ at least three (3) to five (5) years of experience preparing construction documentsBachelors or Master’s degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureStrong knowledge of interior design specifications, industry standards, interior detailing and furniture fabrication methodologies calculations, and industry standardsMust have experience with FFE procurement processExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and Revit; Sketchup and Rhino preferred but not requiredStrong conceptual, design, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and energetic team member with the ability to meet project timelines and actively add to the design conversationExcellent organization and teamwork skills, with strong attention to detailProven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentProficient in MS Word and ExcelLives in the New York City area and is available to work immediatelyInterested in hearing more?
