Overview
The Sr. Web Developer’s focus will be for design, implementation, and maintenance of existing and new software requirements to meet the needs of internal and external clients. The Developer will work with the team and clients under supervision of Web Development Manager to understand requirements, develop specifications, test and write software applications. This includes acting as decision maker for these applications' system and database architectures, facilitating or actively participating in stakeholder discussions, and thoroughly understanding related SHI business processes.
The Sr. Web Developer will report to the Development Manager of eCommerce.
This position is required to report to the SHI NJ HQ290 or SHI Austin office location on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
Review and analyze business requests or problems to determine requirements and technical solution as new or existing software product features.
Design, develop, code review, test, deploy and troubleshoot throughout the software development life cycle.
Maintain, support and fix bugs for software product in ownership area. Follow and participate in team processes and best practices .
Write and maintain relevant process, design or technical documentations.
Mentoring and knowledge sharing to help ramp up new members in certain areas.
Continuously adapt and grow in technology advances and transformation.
Be a team player collaborating with stakeholders, users, product owners and tech team peers to deliver desired objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an IT field, or equivalent experiences.
5+ years professional software development experience in a corporate environment.
Proficient in object-oriented programming, RESTful APIs, MVC, SOLID principles.
Fluent with C#, ASP.Net, .NET core framework, html, Bootstrap, JQuery, AJAX, json, xml.
Fluent with source control such as Git and AWS CodeCommit.
Fluent with MS Visual Studio or Jetbrains Rider.
Experience with relational databases, especially MS SQL Server and PostreSQL databases.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and IIS
Required Skills
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum software development process.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, verbally and in writing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and good time management.
Self-motivated individual who works well both as part of a team and independently.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Experience with nginx
Experience with incident management systems, such as ServiceNow.
Experience with AWS, Azure cloud
Experience with investigation using observability tools, such as Open Telemetry, Honeycomb, Sumo Logic, Splunk.
Experience with micro services and event-driven patterns.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment, such as Jenkins
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
