Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Global Marketing will join the New Assets Brand Strategy team and help build the future of our Company's Oncology. This role is an exciting opportunity to create new brands and shape early commercial strategy in our expanding portfolio of late-stage assets. Responsibilities include:Customer Insight and Data analytics: Team up with business insight and competitive intel to develop data driven brand strategy including: full responsibility for: (1) market assessment (2) patient journey (3) patient flow and (4) leverage point analysis. Prepare and deliver presentations to inform data driven rationale for brand segmentation, targeting & positioning, opportunity space identification and prioritization.Brand Development: Lead brand development in collaboration with cross-functional team ensuring key internal stakeholder alignment. Develop positioning territories, visual identity, logo, trade name, package design and marketing campaigns to support regional/local demand generation projects. Responsible of agency management, procurement coordination and budget planning and execution.Customer Engagement, Promotional Mix & Digital Experience:Lead the development of promotional Mix (branded and unbranded). Including campaign concept development, media planning, content & assets development, medical/legal reviews & approvals, regional execution and budgeting.Launch Excellence & Governance: Support Global Marketing Director and the cross functional launch readiness team, including agenda, team dynamics, launch tracking and status update.Business & Brand Planning: Support the Global Marketing Director and cross functional team to develop the Brand Strategy, Tactical Execution and implement the Business Planning process cycle. Be a market dynamics subject matter expert in partnership with disease team and BI, demonstrating deep understanding of unmet medical need, SOC data, competitive landscaping (current vs future), patient share, pricing, DoT.Regional & Country Engagement: Team up with the Global Marketing Director to develop and implement regional engagement agenda including global meetings, market research reviews, congress planning and scientific leader (KOL) mapping.Special Projects: Team up with different stakeholders to work on special assignments to respond to evolving market dynamics & business need and in alignment with individual development plan.Qualifications/Requirements:BA/BS in Business, Marketing, General Management, Biotechnology, or related field.Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in one or more of the following functions within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences consulting industries: marketing, sales, strategy & planning, commercial operations, or related function.Proactive self-starter with leadership skills, executive presence, and strong ability to influence in a cross-functional / matrix organization.Documented success in developing strategies and executing tactical plans with unparalleled external focus and commitment to patients & HCPs needs.Demonstrated proficiency in the Marketing Planning Process (specifically in launch stage) partnering with BI and using a data driven approach to inform Brand Strategy (e.g. ATU research and Syndicated Data Reports) Demonstrated proficiency in Brand Development, Marketing Campaign development, Promotional Mix mgmt. and execution across a broad group of stakeholders/functions (Med Affairs, Access, Core, Biomarker, International and Regional organizations);Demonstrated proficiency in project management, managing multiple initiatives at once and executing plans across a broad group of stakeholders/functions;Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Travel as needed for meetings/conferences.Ability to be on-site/in-person 3 days per week.Preferred:Oncology experience.Global experience.Demonstrated proficiency in the Marketing Planning Process (specifically in launch stage).Experience with end-to-end medical/legal review and delivery processes.Previous experience at operating company level will be highly appreciated, specifically in demand generation projects including close collaboration with the sales organization (e.g. sales training, promotional material and omnichannel field execution with full understanding of how promo supports the field team and ultimately helping patients and HCPs).NOTICE FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTSIn accordance with Managers' Policy - Job Posting and Employee Placement, all employees subject to this policy are required to have a minimum of twelve (12) months of service in current position prior to applying for open positions.If you have been offered a separation benefits package, but have not yet reached your separation date and are offered a position within the salary and geographical parameters as set forth in the Summary Plan Description (SPD) of your separation package, then you are no longer eligible for your separation benefits package.
