Overview
This position is primarily responsible for increasing Dealer cars sold using OVE and Manheim Express by working closely with Buyers and Sellers via telephone, email, or other communication means. The OVE Sales Representative will use past successes in sales and customer service to develop and maintain relationships with Manheim customers. The position works closely with the Location based and Field Sales Teams to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded.

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as noise, dust, and fumes in auction lanes.
USD 23.56 - 35.38 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is $23.56 - $35.38/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $12,000.00.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.

- Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals. Define and establish sales targets aligned with company objectives.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Contact Bidder/Seller to ensure that they are aware of an offer and attempt to close the transaction
- After a sale closes, obtain a list of dealers who bid online at or over MMR on particular units and didn't win the bid. Match bidder with an alternate vehicle in-lane or on OVE
- Encourage referrals from Field Sales, Dealer Services and Dealer Concierge for buyers interested in specific inventory
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research potential clients, identify prospects, and generate leads.
- Client Communication: Contact potential and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Handling Inquiries: Address customer questions, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
- Process units sold on OVE.
- Sales Process Management: Utilize specific software programs to manage the sales process effectively.
- CRM Database Maintenance: Build and maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Prioritize work to yield highest transaction volume.
- Track time allocated to each transaction, number of transactions worked and results.
- Train Dealers/Sellers to help them sell vehicles more effectively online.
- Ensure reporting of results is complete and accurate
- Works independently, manages time effectively with great attention to details
- Team player and great communication and relationship skills with internal and external customers
- Provide Digital Sales support
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years' experience in a related field
- Proven track record in sales and service; automotive, auction, internet sales/service a plus
- Understanding of used vehicles, damage assessments and valuations a plus
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
- Ability to work independently and self-motivating
- Excellent people, teamwork, customer service and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, sales software programs, Internet and MS Office effectively with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; use of salesforce.com a plus.
