Essential Duties of the Marketing Specialist:
Manage Website Functionality & Content including an extensive catalog of equipment and matching consumables.Add new products and delete obsolete products on a regular basisPromote our product line, created educational content, regular events, and conduct in-house and supplier promotions on our website and other appropriate digital platformsTrack website activity and key metrics and recommend action upgrades and enhancements to the websiteHelp manage the extensive library of whitepapers, use cases, and helpful tips and effectively use them to create content marketing on the website and on digital platformsImprove CRM Management to help sales better target leads by vertical marketMonitor competitive websites and leading technology provider websites to ID trends and opportunities for upgrade to our digital marketing platformProvide Tech Support/Service Model Enhanced Via Digital Communication both company websitesMaintain all hard copy and electronic customer files in an orderly manner ensuring confidentiality as well as accessibility of informationBe proactive with solutions and recommendations for enhanced customer service, increased market share and gaining new customers as well as retaining existing customersRequirements
Qualifications of the Marketing Specialist
Technical education is required, minimum high school diploma / Bachelor's degree preferredMust be proficient in HTML language and website construction. Graphics design experience is preferredKnowledgeable in optimizing Google Search functions to drive traffic to websiteMust have experience with Google Merchant Center, Google Home Page, and GA4Must have excellent communication and analytical skills. Effective verbal and writing skills required to ensure digital content is grammatically correct and to be able to communicate with co-workers' customers, suppliers, and providers.Must be able to perform activities accurately in a timely manner with the ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and assign priority to completion of tasks.Must understand Company operations and capabilities as well as profit goals as these relate to marketing and sales growth.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software, spreadsheets, databases, and business software systems, i.e., Sage Peachtree Accounting and business software.Must have valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and a vehicle in good working order for travel to work and make occasional trips to conferences and trade shows. Occasional overnight travel may occur. Mileage reimbursement and travel expenses are reimbursed promptly.
