About the Role
This candidate will find opportunity pricing (accurately identify implementation and ongoing costs associated with new opportunities and establish profitable, competitive pricing while mitigating known risks)Formulate responses for current and potential customers\' RFIs, RFPs, etc. (Proposal Preparation)Support sales team by developing and delivering magnificent TMS demonstrations which validates the value of Uber Freight to potential customers and build technology demonstrationsPerform sales project management (planning, organizing, securing, managing, leading, and controlling resources to achieve specific goalsHave consistent and professional communications; effective, timely and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations. This person will do prospecting and have excellent customer relations skillsParticipate in the successful handoff of the newly minted handoff from the sales lead to the project manager and the operational services lead.
What the Candidate Will Do
Maintain accurate cost factors for all opportunity types, e.g. SaaS, 3PL, Brokerage, Hybrid, MexicoUse prospect data to determine and resolve estimated technology, personnel, and other resources required to meet or exceed customer expectations as identified during the sales processApply historical operations and on-boarding costs to forecast contribution margins of new opportunitiesIdentify risks associated with new opportunities and suggest mitigation strategiesChip in on strategy calls for partnership and consensusAuthor documents for prospect submission, including integration of additional response items, e.g. return on investment analysis, rates, executive summary, economic proposalConduct internal prep call with sales member to identify customer\'s struggles that could be resolved with implementation of our TMS.Identify required technology needed to demonstrate the value of the Uber Freight TMS to potential customerBuild, load, and test all data and screens that will be used during the TMS demonstrationConduct TMS demonstration using relative talking points and experiences while encouraging customer interactionsAct as a subject matter authority adviser to the customer to advise them of options and recommend the standard and best process for the customer\'s supply chain.Travel is required for 15-20% of the role
Basic Qualifications
4 years related work experienceBi-Lingual (English / Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications
Current 3PL/TMS market knowledge (understanding of the operating practices, financial position, structure, and management organization of contending 3PL and TMS firms, including knowledge of driven differentiators). Knowledge in Mexico Markets / Logistics is a plusKnowledge of the customers\' businessKnowledge and of CRM ToolsKnowledge and utilization of Uber Freight Corporate Communication StandardsTransportation industry expertiseSupply chain solutions expertiseProcess Improvement and problem solving (expertise in systematically approaching process or performance challenges through identification and elimination of causes of poor quality, variation and waste.)Excellent communication & partnership skills
