The Technical Writer will create technical documentation, including standard operation procedures, user documentation, how-to guides, integration guides, computer systems operation guides, and product specifications.

***This is a hybrid position. The candidate will be expected to be onsite 2-3 days a week.
The Technical Writer will create technical documentation, including standard operation procedures, user documentation, how-to guides, integration guides, computer systems operation guides, and product specifications. They work with other technical experts, such as engineers and software developers, to ensure that the information they provide is accurate, well formatted, and easy to understand.

Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standardsGain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging contentWrite user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user successEvaluate current content and ensure it is up to date
Responsibilities
Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirementsGather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentationWork with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise, edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storageDevelop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentationDetermine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehensionAnalyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentationReview and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team
