What You’ll Do
The Onsite Support Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on-premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s), with the goal of delivering a world-class customer service experience.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Setup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers' event needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces.
- Support tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner.
- Provide field service support of networked devices.
- Collaborate professionally with internal/external teams, reflecting AVI-SPL values.
- Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties.
- Provide job site documentation and end-user training as needed.
- Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems.
- Travel to various job sites as required.
Items To Consider
- Work hours and location may vary based on client requirements, including travel support.
- The position generally involves working on customer sites, possibly in construction-like environments.
Must-Haves
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2 years of audiovisual integration experience.
- Understanding of conferencing systems such as touch panels, projection, displays, microphones, DSPs, and processors.
- Knowledge of system signal flow and troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of audio, video, and control signal flow.
- Valid Driver’s License meeting AVI-SPL standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends when needed.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift equipment and materials regularly.
Nice-To-Haves
- Formal education in Electronics or related fields.
- Intermediate PC troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with work order or ticket management platforms.

Pay Range
Hourly: $24.04 - $28.85/hr
