Due to expansion, we are seeking a
Sales Design Engineer . You will be a technical consultant, generating project scope, flow diagrams, and equipment lists for customer proposals. You will also assist post-sales with project engineering and consultation, providing technical reviews and end-user training for AV projects, with a thorough understanding of AV industry standards, IP networks, and deployment methodologies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support project managers and implementation teams, including hands-on and remote commissioning. Provide technical training for end-users. Amend and adapt AV system designs, including CAD schematics. Stay current with system technologies through manufacturer training. Create scope of work and bill of materials for client quotes. Review and approve technical documents for deployment. Lead on project bids and provide technical feedback to improve processes. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: 5+ years of AV design experience or 8+ years of professional AV industry experience. Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Knowledge of control, audio, video, and VoIP technologies. CTS certification or higher. Excellent communication skills and client interaction confidence. Knowledge in AV systems design, conferencing, video walls, control systems, and infrastructure. Willingness to work across time zones and travel if needed. Valid driver's license. DESIRABLE CRITERIA: CTS-D, CTS-I certifications. Engineering degree, AutoCAD, BIM, and software skills. Additional certifications like Shure, QSC, Lightware.
