WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Lead AV Field Technician, you will lead a team of AV Technicians on Installation Projects, providing AV solutions and services on site, interfacing with the client in line with requirements and SLAs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the installation and de-installation of AV/Telepresence products.
- Configure endpoints and infrastructure.
- Prepare room audits to ensure technology operates optimally.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Identify defective equipment and provide solutions.
- Complete Post Installation Assessments.
- Perform onsite User Acceptance testing.
- Install software upgrades.
- Act as escalation point for technical issues, providing solutions for ongoing faults.
- Communicate with management regarding assignments.
- Report project updates and document hardware failures, manage Break/Fix and RMA requests.
- Supervise and assist with rack building processes.
- Travel to customer sites nationally as required.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Experience leading teams of AV Technicians or Engineers.
- Experience with terminating, configuring, and programming equipment like Extron, Cisco, Crestron, and/or AMX.
- Ability to read and understand plans and perform additional configuration.
- Experience with AV/VC integrations.
- Agility and a strong sense of urgency.
- Responsiveness, efficiency, excellent customer interaction, and professionalism.
- Problem-solving skills and resilience to technical challenges.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, demanding environments, with independent and confident thinking.
- Willingness to work and travel globally.
- Responsibility, reliability, and ability to work alone or in a team.
- Good organization, time management, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change and hours.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
- Audio systems (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM).
- Video systems (Cisco, Polycom).

The pay range for this role is $75,000—$100,000 USD, subject to responsibilities, experience, education, and other factors.
