Provide daily management and supervision of occupational therapy services at FamilyForward.\nOversee departmental operations, programming, budget, team dynamics, and safety/confidentiality of services to support the delivery of quality, evidence-based occupational therapy and maintain appropriate accreditation standards.\nProvide trauma-informed services to clients within respective area of expertise as needed.\nParticipate in securing funding for the occupational therapy department.\nExplore opportunities to add value to organization programs through expansion and integration of occupational therapy services.\nPromote the work and mission of FamilyForward by providing trainings to internal staff and to community members at local and broader levels.\nCoordinate with educational institutions to secure site certification for student fieldwork and oversee student experiences.\nEngage in appropriate research and service activities to support FamilyForward’s mission and core values.\nServe as a visible and effective spokesperson for the program within the occupational therapy profession, the childhood trauma community, relevant state agencies, and professional associations.\nProvide supervision, mentoring, and coaching to occupational therapy staff to ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment, proper documentation, and effective billing.\nCreate safe and inclusive environments for all staff, clients, and families.\nDemonstrate excellent communication, time management, collaboration, and organizational skills in supporting staff within and across FamilyForward programs and departments.\nCommunicate with Senior Director to provide updates on client services, budget achievement, staffing issues, and performance appraisals.\nWork independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision; collaborate in a team environment.\nOversee department adherence to accreditation standards, professional standards, policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.\nModel core values and enforce FamilyForward policies; promote sustainable practices during change or transition.\nTravel to off-site locations for marketing and community/professional activities.\nDemonstrate ability to foster diversity, equity and inclusion throughout department efforts.\nYou would be a good fit for this position if you

Have a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or related field.\nHave a state licensure or ability to obtain state licensure in the professional field.\nHave at least 3 or more years of clinical experience with pediatric population.\nHave advanced training and 2 years’ experience working with children who have experienced trauma or attachment disruption.\nHave demonstrated leadership ability.\nHave proven organizational and data analysis skills.\nHave experience with collaboration, facilitation, and team building.\nQualifications and Education that make you stand out (but are not required)

Have a Doctoral Degree in occupational therapy or related field.\nHave at least 5 or more years of clinical experience with pediatric population.\nHave advanced training and certification in childhood trauma and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.\nHave at least 3 or more years working in settings focused on supporting children who have experienced trauma.\nHave at least 2 or more years supervisory experience.\nHave experience in developing and presenting professional-level training at the organization, community, and national level.\nHave experience in developing, administering, and publishing research.\nHave experience connecting with community, professional, and legislative stakeholders to advocate for client services and needs.\nHave a proven record of actively working to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the professional realm of influence.\nKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities We Look For

This position requires sustained periods of work on the computer, including writing/typing. This position requires frequent communication with others, in-person and via telephone/virtual conferencing. The employee will be asked to move around rooms or within a space. The employee may occasionally be asked to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, or greater with assistance. The employee must have transportation to all Agency sites, including external locations where events are held.
