The Reporting & Analytics Platform team seeks a UX designer in Seattle, WA, to join our passionate group of builders. Our leadership and customers encourage us to push the boundaries of enterprise products, envisioning solutions across all platforms to influence product roadmaps and customer goals.
How You’ll Find Success
- Develop a product UX design vision that looks 1-2 years ahead, evolving by listening to customers and ideating innovative solutions.
- Identify and address UX issues and opportunities, ensuring they are resolved.
- Lead collaboration across software development, product management, and marketing teams.
- Create fluid, intuitive user experiences that scale across desktop, mobile, and emerging paradigms like voice.
- Design solutions that serve millions of users with diverse needs.
- Combine traditional UX skills with a deep understanding of platform architecture, users, and their needs in a PaaS environment.
How You’ll Grow
- Work on high-impact projects using cutting-edge tools and technologies, troubleshooting challenging problems alongside driven professionals.
- Establish a new standard for sharing and documenting design patterns globally, enabling engineers to build confidently and independently.
- Engage directly with customers to learn how Qualtrics can better integrate into their workflows and improve their work quality.
What You’ll Do
- Create detailed wireframes and designs to enhance product usability.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to plan future improvements, demonstrating technical understanding.
- Participate in UX critiques to support and inspire team members.
- Use research data to recommend and implement design improvements.
- Stay updated on modern design trends, especially in BI and analytics, to keep our products competitive and user-friendly.
- Modernize visualizations, streamline workflows, and design scalable components for rapid data-to-action processes.
- Experiment with AI-assisted design tools to enhance productivity and creativity.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- 3-5 years of experience as an information architect, UX, or interaction designer.
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related fields.
- Portfolio showcasing designed, shipped, and maintained products and features.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers.
- Experience designing complex systems, BI tools, and data visualizations.
- Experience with enterprise platforms and holistic system thinking.
- Ability to align user experience with platform capabilities through collaboration with technical partners.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional influence.
- Knowledge of web accessibility principles and experience designing accessible products.
- Proficiency in Figma; experience with other tools is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Github and Jira preferred.
