Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Production Artist / Packaging Designer to join our in-house Marketing team. This hybrid role supports both the creative production of marketing materials and the design and execution of packaging across multiple private label brands. The ideal candidate will be an organized, hands-on designer who is comfortable preparing production-ready files for both print and digital channels and who has a strong understanding of packaging design, printing processes, and brand consistency.

This is a hybrid position with one day a week in our Roswell, GA location.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging Design
  • Design and produce packaging for a portfolio of private label brands, each with distinct brand standards
  • Apply expert knowledge of print production, die lines, color management, typography and material specifications
  • Ensure all packaging meets regulatory guidelines, including barcode formatting and legal disclaimers
  • Design product labels, spec sheets, and related packaging collateral
  • Collaborate with sourcing, product, and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of packaging output
• Production Design
  • Prepare final production files for print, digital, packaging, collateral, and other marketing materials using best practices for each channel
  • Execute layout adjustments and file resizing for multiple assets across multiple channels
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across final deliverables
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and design best practices across multiple business units
  • Manage file organization, naming conventions, asset versioning, and uploads to DAM
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to support campaign and asset needs

Skills We Are Seeking

• 7+ years of experience in a production or packaging design role (in-house or agency)
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of print and digital design, production, typography, packaging workflows
• Familiarity with die line setup, prepress, and press checks
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and version control
• Working knowledge of DAM systems and file management best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with product labeling requirements and regulatory compliance is a plus
• Experience supporting multiple brands or product categories simultaneously is preferred
