Position Overview

Assistant Program Director – Southwest Florida’s Fly 98.5

Fly 98.5 (WFFY-FM) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Program Director who is ready to step up, take ownership, and lead the brand across multiple platforms — on-air, social media, and community events.

If you are proficient with GSelector, thrive behind a live microphone, and possess natural leadership qualities, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Own the music scheduling process, ensuring the station remains fresh and aligned with strategic goals
• Present a lively, engaging, and locally-focused on-air show daily, demonstrating personality and hustle
• Collaborate with management and consultants to implement brand strategies
• Assist with staff scheduling and station promotion execution
• Represent Fly 98.5 at events and sales meetings with enthusiasm
• Maintain clear and consistent communication

Qualifications:

• Experience with on-air broadcasting and professional music scheduling software
• Strong team player with leadership instincts
• Passion for Southwest Florida community
