The Top 100 Most Social Brands of 2008

iphone-mega.jpgThough we can't be sure if "social" should refer to social media or brands that are part of the American vernacular, here's a list of the top 100 most social brands in 2008, according to Vitrue — a company that empowers "marketers, agencies and publishers to engage with their consumers." They have a blog, too!

With no further adieu, the winners are:

The Vitrue 100 of 2008

1. iPhone
2. CNN
3. Apple
4. Disney
5. Xbox
6. Starbucks
7. iPod
8. MTV
9. Sony
10. Dell

Though comprehensive, the list left one one brand in particular that was on the minds of most every American at one point or another thie year: Obama. Maybe the folks at Vitrue didn't see Obama as a brand, or maybe they just didn't want to get political about it. But, do you agree with their list?

Click continued for 11-100.
