We'll say that the decline of print newspapers and their revenue is an 'adjustment'. That's what talking heads called bank failures before they described them as Armageddon. It was an economic adjustment. Then it was the Fourth Horseman.

Anyway, with the ongoing media industry adjustment, Buzznet, described as a 'social media community for music' hired NYT music reporter Jeff Leeds as their new editor-in-chief and Leslie Simon as senior editor.

Our sources tell us Buzznet's offices are in Hollywood on Sunset. A Buzznet employee told FBLA,"Buzznet is expanding. It's blowing up. When I started here [2006] it was like ten people in a warehouse."

So, the canary is still alive.
