Beast’s Green to Examiner

Justin Green, editor/contributor at The Daily Beast, announced today on Twitter that he’s making a move to the Washington Examiner.

Good time as any to mention that I’ll be moving from @thedailybeast to the @dcexaminer thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/…

— Justin Green (@JGreenDC) June 3, 2013

No word on exactly what his role will be. We reached out to Green for comment, but he declined. One possible reason for the move is that Daily Beast’s David Frum—whose blog Green edited—also said today that he’s taking a break from writing over the summer, and possibly longer. He noted Green’s move, calling it a promotion.

“And let me end with a big salute to this blog’s energetic editor, Justin Green, who now proceeds to a much deserved promotion at the Washington Examiner. You can follow his hilarious Twitter feed at @JGreenDC.”

Best of luck to Green in his new job.
