Carol Browner Joins B-GOV Advisory Board

Former EPA Administrator Carol Browner has joined Bloomberg Government‘s advisory board.

Browner was the longest serving EPA Administrator during the Clinton Administration, serving from 1993 to 2001. She was Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy during the Obama Administration. Politico reported the news earlier today and adds that the following people will also join the board: “Browner joins a board of five including former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu, National Interest editor Bob Merry, former Reagan White House Chief of Staff Ken Duberstein, and former U.S. Representatives Jack Buechner and Vin Webber.”

In her role, Browner will be an advisor to Bloomberg Government. The idea is for her to lend her insight and experience on environmental policy to the analyst team.

Browner has her head in other pots: She’s a Senior Counselor at Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm headed by former Sec. of State Madeleine Albright, former National Security Advisor Samuel Berger, and former Sen. Warren Rudman, and previously was a founding principal of the Albright Group LLC from 2001-2008.  She is also a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress and on the Board of the League of Conservation Voters.
