The Atlantic Promotes Hayley Romer

A year and a half after joining The Atlantic as associate publisher, Hayley Romer has been upped to vice president and publisher. During a quarter that will mark the brand’s best-ever for advertising revenue.

Scott Havens, president of The Atlantic. “I’m thrilled she will be leading our award-winning sales and marketing teams as we double down on innovation, expansion and growth.”

Prior to joining The Atlantic, Romer spent five years at the Condé Nast Media Group, most recently as executive director of corporate sales, and managed the luxury account list at Forbes Media. She began her career in publishing at American Heritage magazine.
