Breaking: Laurie Cantillo Resigns as WABC-AM Program Director

Laurie Cantillo, who joined WABC-AM in February 2009 has resigned, according to All Access.com.

On October 21, Cumulus laid off several staffers at WABC and sister station WPLJ.

Prior to her arrival at WABC, Cantillo was program director at Harpo’s Oprah and Friends Radio Network. She also spent six years as program director at KFYI in Phoenix.

No replacement for Cantillo has been named.
