Dominic Carter Returns to TV This Week on RNN
Dominic Carter, the former NY1 anchor, makes his first TV appearances this week since leaving the cable channel in 2009.
Carter, you’ll recall, served three weeks of jail time for a misdemeanor attempted assault against his wife in November 2009. The Daily News reports Carter is appealing the court’s decision. NY1 decided not to pick up his contract following the conviction.
Carter will appear in a panel discussion on Richard French’s RNN show tonight and tomorrow.
“It’s very exciting for me,” Carter tells FishbowlNY via email. ”The last 20 years of my life has been on television, and it’s great to be going back and reconnecting with the many viewers that have supported me throughout the years.”
