Dating Doyenne to Seduce TONY Readers in a New Weekly Column

New York (May 11, 2007) — New York's arts and entertainment bible just got a brand-new steady, as firebrand relationship expert Julia Allison joins Time Out New York to pen an as-yet-unnamed dating column for the weekly's Seek section.

In keeping with the magazine's mission of serving as a guide to New York living, the column will steer New Yorkers through the cutthroat world of dating in a city that's eminently difficult for romance-seekers to navigate. "Dating in New York is an inexhaustible fount of amusement, insanity, and confusion," says Allison "There's no better place to be single, and there's definitely no better place to write about it!"

A notorious figure with a notorious figure, Allison will maintain an up-close-and-personal relationship with her readership. To that end, TONY readers will be invited to participate in a contest to name her new column, which will contain a mixture of first- and third-person anecdotes and trend reporting sure to keep New Yorkers entertained and informed.
