Revolving Door News at Crown, Peanuts Worldwide & More
A number of publishers announced new hires and promotions this week.
Tracy Behar has been promoted to executive editor and VP at Little, Brown and Company. She has been with this imprint for eight years.
Lania Adler now holds the title of vice president and senior director of marketing at HarperOne.
Craig Herman has been named executive director of publishing at Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment. Previously, Herman had worked at Running Press.
Vintage Anchor Books publisher Anne Messitte has been appointed executive vice president of the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group. She will report to chairman/editor-in-chief Sonny Mehta.
Two members of the Crown editorial team were promoted. Zachary Wagman has been named senior editor and Christine Kopprasch now holds the title of associate editor.
Crown also announced two new hires in their publicity department. Megan Perritt jumped from F+W Media and will now serve as senior publicist. Rebecca Marsh has moved from Simon & Schuster for her new publicist position.
Finally, self-publishing company Lulu revealed a slew of new leadership hires.
