Salary:
$110,000 – $230,000
VP Commodities Marketing located onsite in Manhattan Base salary $110k-230k depending on skills and experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Sciences, Liberal Arts; MBA preferred
At least 10 years of experience, including minimum 5 years in investment/commercial banking, 2 years in a product manager or relationship manager role, 2 years of credit analysis, loan underwriting, and portfolio monitoring experience, as well as 2 years of commodity financing experience
Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship management skills
Solid financial and credit analysis skills, with the ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business documents
Responsibilities:
Oversee credit analysis and review process for a portfolio of accounts
Conduct financial and credit risk analysis based on company, industry, market, and competitor research
Evaluate risk aspects of transaction terms and conditions in line with bank policies
Prepare credit reports in collaboration with account officers and interact with departments including credit risk, presenting recommendations to approval committees
Identify and develop new client relationships
Assess client credit needs and determine appropriate product solutions, obtaining credit limits per bank guidelines
Originate business from target and existing clients
Determine product pricing using market research data and bank guidance
Develop new products and onboard customers aligned with the bank’s risk appetite
Ensure compliance with KYC, Credit Risk Control procedures, bank policies, and applicable laws such as BSA/AML and OFAC
Support post-lending management, including collateral and portfolio management
Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies
