Job Responsibilities
- Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large;
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students;
- Participate on university committees;
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases to the media;
- Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and promotional items for events, programs, and initiatives;
- Collaborate with the marketing and communication team to develop creative concepts and strategies aligned with branding guidelines;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, target audience, and messaging goals;
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and techniques to improve visual communication;
- Assist with photography and videography projects as needed;
- Ensure consistency and quality control across all design deliverables, maintaining organized files;
- Utilize Meltwater to monitor media hits and compile monthly reports for University stakeholders; photograph campus events;
- Produce weekly internal newsletter for LMU constituents;
- Communicate with the public through social networking vehicles;
- Assist in creating and maintaining a marketing plan for LMU in conjunction with senior leadership;
- Coordinate with divisions and departments for advertising and promotion strategies;
- Coordinate public relations efforts for assigned areas;
- Work closely with Admissions and Student Services to plan and participate in student recruitment activities and promote events such as Preview Days and FAFSA Workshops;
- Manage MeritPages recognition for students and distribution of hometown releases for Dean’s list and graduation;
- Attend monthly meetings with the Administration division;
- Complete required accreditation reports;
- Plan and post messaging on campus signage including building screens and marquee;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
