ACA is seeking a qualified Event & Media Coordinator. Hiring quality staff is a critical effort as we build an institution that establishes the next generation of a modern private Islamic school. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Media Coordination:
- Website updating and maintenance.
- Manage social/digital media by posting the latest updates, announcements, and multimedia on all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Organize and maintain a current, accessible, and relevant media archive/collection.
- Promote the media center program through newsletters, the school website, and community engagement.
Event Planning Coordination:
- Oversee the setup and facilitation of school-wide events with the assistance of the Event Committees.
- Assist with planning and facilitation of PTA-sponsored school events with the assistance of the Event Committee.
- Oversee the planning of school field trips.
- Print event programs for school-wide events.
- Print certificates for school-wide events.
- Purchase trophies, medals, and pins for school events.
- Assist with duties and any other tasks assigned by the office.
- Assist the Sacred Science Coordinator with cultural events that may require decorations.
Other Tasks:
- Strictly adhere to the school’s rules and policies.
- Perform any other tasks/duties assigned by the administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Administration, Media, or related field required.
- 2 years of teaching experience required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

Compensation and Working Conditions:
- Salary range: (commensurate with experience)
- 6 days PTO (Paid Time Off)

- Activities will result in a work schedule of 40-45 hours per week
