Job Requirements:

1. Provide professional makeup application services, specializing in looks from natural to dramatic for special occasions.
2. Consult with clients to create personalized makeup looks that complement their features, attire, and event theme.
3. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to Wisconsin Safety & Sanitation codes.
4. Stay updated with the latest makeup trends and techniques.
5. Perform opening and closing procedures as directed by the Manager and Spa Director.
6. Assist with inventory management to ensure stock levels are maintained.
7. Attend quarterly salon meetings and product knowledge sessions.

Qualifications:

• Professionally trained Makeup Artist (or Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician) with 3+ years of experience in makeup and special occasion application.
• Strong skills in applying a variety of makeup styles, from natural to dramatic (airbrush makeup is a plus but not required).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to replicate requested looks with flexibility for last-minute changes.
• Professional, positive demeanor with strong time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team.
• Must provide a professional look book of makeup work and demonstrate skills on 3-5 models during the interview.
• Willing to adhere to Wisconsin Safety & Sanitation laws and regulations.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, days, and nights.

Additional Information:

• This is a commission-based position plus hourly training as needed. Income is tied to services provided.
