Summary
Supports the development, implementation and management of strategic marketing plans designed to meet the organization’s growth goals and enhance the integrity of the Memorial Healthcare System’s (MHS) reputation and brand. The Strategic Marketing Director is charged with driving significant cross-functional collaboration with the Director of Marketing Operations, the Director of Brand Management, and other Marketing team members and vendor partners as well as service line and physician stakeholders to ensure that marketing investments are generating appropriate and quantifiable ROI and are fully aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities, mission and vision. Focuses on ensuring that marketing strategies are data-informed. The role reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and has close interaction and collaborative working relationships with system leadership and coordinates with department experts.
Responsibilities
Partners with marketing strategists and service line leaders on connected, coordinated campaign strategies that deliver a superior consumer experience.Monitors performance reporting and dashboards; recommends adjustments to strategies to achieve goals.Identifies opportunities and strategic recommendations based on insights from consumer and competitor data, predictive modeling and projected financial impact.Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director of Strategic Marketing.Directs the creation and development of integrated marketing and marketing communication strategies focused on driving demand to core services, including promotional campaigns, marketing partnerships, physician referral support, and digital marketing.Participates in strategic planning, business development and key operational meetings for service area business units and service lines.Collaborates with the MHS Marketing Department team, vendor partners, MHS leadership and stakeholders to design and manage strategic journey mapping and digital experience strategies, clearly connecting strategy with business goals with a focus on optimizing the overall consumer and patient experience.Spearheads marketing for priority service lines with the responsibility for establishing measures of success and collaborating with leadership and service line stakeholders on determining appropriate patient acquisition and revenue and contribution margin goals.

Complexity of Work: Ability to engage with leadership, physicians and other health system stakeholders and provide leadership to cross-functional team members to achieve objectives. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Required Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in strategic marketing or service line marketing. Experience managing multiple vendors and agencies. Experience in the use of business analytics, key performance indicators and dashboards. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and process improvement strategies across various groups. Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms preferred. Experience with web content management systems preferred. Other Information: Equivalency for the degree: Associate’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant marketing experience.Additional Education Info: or relevant field of study
