We are seeking a full-time Broadcast Engineer to be in charge of our Studio Productions on-site at our New York location. This Engineer will plan, design, and operate productions at NEP Studios. This person will be in charge of all aspects relating to managing the technical operation of a studio facility working with staff and clients. This is the perfect opportunity for a person with experience in this field to be part of broadcasting with us and on-air talent.
What you will do:
- Manage the technical operations of the facility
- Develop operational efficiencies and strategies for client responsiveness
- Work with all staff to develop and upgrade studio equipment
- Supervise repair and maintenance of technical facilities
- Identify hardware and labor costs for maintenance and client projects
This is a full-time position requiring night, weekend, and holiday work. The EIC will perform all technical operations, trouble shooting, maintaining and engineering of all technical gear and supervise the NEP Studio building and its staff to ensure that the facilities are safe and receive proper maintenance.
Requirements
What you will need:
- 3 years of experience working in television production technology with managerial responsibility
- Demonstrated knowledge of studio engineering, technology, equipment, and facilities production
- B.S. / M.S. in Engineering preferred however a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Quality communication with all levels of staff and clients is a must
This position will be paid an annual salary based on experience at a range of $90k-$120K
