PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general direction of Assistant Manager, Sales Development department, execute policies and procedures set forth by company management. Sell, plan, develop, and coordinate new revenue sources. As a Graphic Designer, create visual designs for posters, books, product packaging, and other two-dimensional media. Enhance and refine designs to be more visually appealing and impactful based on client requests. Graphic designers are involved in a wide range of tasks, from conceptualization to final production. Essential Functions Graphic Design (30%) Design Concept - Meet with clients to gather conceptual information, target audience, and clients requirements to develop clear vision of the project. The designer plays a crucial role in providing expert advice based on their professional knowledge. Based on clients requests gathered during initial discussion, create the design. Work independently or collaborate with illustrators or other team members. Present design to clients for feedback. Provide multiple design variations to align the final product with the client’s vision. Make adjustments based on client feedback. Once the final version is approved, deliver the design officially. Event Management (50%) Plan, arrange, and manage events and promotions tailored to client requirements to ensure project success. Create implementation plans and reports for events and promotions aligned with client requirements. Manage assigned clients, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and sell JTB products and services to generate profit. Update JTB Hawaii, Inc. corporate website and other platforms with relevant data for marketing purposes. Provide promotional services, corporate PR advertising, and planning to generate business. Inter-Department Coordination (10%) Update and maintain optional tour/omiyage tariff data in in-house systems. Update contract information and distribute to relevant departments. Analyze, support, and resolve work problems. Provide local services for JTB Japan Group. Customer Communication (10%) Communicate with departments to resolve customer claims and complaints. Establish and maintain communication networks and relationships with partners. Oversee quality control over optional tours and coordinate with other departments. Secondary Functions: Process charge waiver requests. Assist other departments during peak periods. Pick up and deliver documents, tour brochures, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of experience in sales or graphic design. Effective communication in English and Japanese. Knowledge of Hawaii’s tourism infrastructure and business concepts. Proficiency in basic computer systems and software. Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities. Valid Hawaii driver’s license with clean abstract. Working Conditions: Normal business hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible weekends and holidays. Overtime may be necessary with prior approval. Travel to various locations may be required. Equipment Used: In-house computer system, personal computer, standard office equipment. Proporcionar servicios promocionales, publicidad de relaciones públicas corporativas y planificación de negocios. Coordinación interdepartamental (10%) Actualizar y mantener los datos de tarifas opcionales de viajes / viaje en sistemas internos.
