Responsibilities:
Reporting to the production leadership team, the Senior Game Producer drives the planning, execution, and delivery of complex game development projects. This role is accountable for aligning internal teams and external partners around production goals, managing high-impact schedules, and ensuring games ship on time, within scope, and at expected quality.
Operating with a high degree of ownership, the Senior Producer leads production workflows across multiple disciplines, mitigates risks, and continuously improves team efficiency. This role also contributes to strategic planning, helping shape process improvements and production best practices across the department.
Essential Functions:
- Lead production planning and milestone execution across multi-disciplinary development teams
- Collaborate with design, engineering, art, QA, and publishing stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, quality, and timeline
- Own project schedules and delivery plans, proactively managing changes, risks, and dependencies
- Maintain regular communication with leadership and partners on project status, roadblocks, and deliverables
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase development efficiency and cross-team coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for external partners, maintaining clarity and consistency throughout production
- Mentor junior producers and support departmental production standards, culture, and workflows
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in game development production
- Proven track record of managing full production pipelines from pre-production through launch
- Experience shipping at least three titles in a production leadership role
- Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive large, complex projects
- Skilled in risk management, milestone planning, and multi-team coordination
- Experience working with Agile, hybrid, or other game development methodologies
- Ability to lead by example, foster collaboration, and uphold a high standard of quality and accountability
