Senior Creative Marketing Specialist Job at GTT, LLC in North Chicago

The Senior Creative Marketing Specialist plays a critical leadership role in delivering best-in-class, multi-channel creative campaigns. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to guide high-impact projects that support corporate branding, strategic marketing goals, and global business initiatives. Ideal candidates are motivated, proactive, and passionate about insights-driven marketing and creative problem-solving, with a strong understanding of workflows, project management, and brand alignment.

You’ll join the client’s Creative Team, part of the Global Marketing and External Affairs group, and take the lead on Tier 1 strategic projects while mentoring junior team members and ensuring all creative deliverables align with business priorities.

• Lead and manage complex, high-visibility creative projects across channels

• Collaborate with strategists, creative directors, designers, and writers to develop insight-driven campaigns

• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic goals

• Act as the primary point of contact for business partners and creative teams

• Establish and manage project roles, responsibilities, and timelines

• Maintain project documentation using PM tools; manage scope changes and project closeouts

• Partner with operations for forecasting, budget tracking, and performance metrics

• Identify risks and issues proactively and escalate appropriately

• Guide and influence brand messaging to reinforce corporate values

• Demonstrate critical thinking to connect creative work to overall brand strategy

• Contribute to continuous improvement through post-project evaluations

• Proven experience in a creative agency setting (healthcare industry preferred)

• Background in communications, advertising, or marketing agencies is beneficial

• Expertise in project management tools and software

• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills

• Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up capabilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams
