Outcomes:

·Routinely craft senior leader messaging that is in line with mission, objectives, and reflective of U.S. Space Force culture within minimal correction.

·Perform accurate, high quality, and timely work which leads to positive feedback from the government.

Responsibilities:

The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ USSF. To further the process of developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team continues to implement a multi-phased (multi-year) plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial operating capacity to full operational capacity.Strategic Communication Support personnelwill perform the following functions:

·Provide direct support to the Vice Chief of Space Operations (VCSO), by drafting speeches, other remarks, and talking points that accurately convey the intended message.

·Create communication products for a variety of audiences. This may include reports, congressional testimony, “question-for-the-record” responses, senior leader prep materials for informal or formal engagements, guidebooks, instructional materials, and summaries of specific interest items.

·Work with members of the HQ USSF staff and Department of the Air Force offices to assist in the development of the Service’s communication strategy.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the following qualification:

·Over eighteen (18) years of progressive experience in high-level technical and organizational support services, to include demonstrated written and oral communications skills.

·Familiarity with government – preferably U.S. military – structure, and communication strategies and practices.

Travel: Minimal travel may be required.
