Overview

Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients, with a focus on both personal and commercial lines. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Producer to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexibility, a supportive culture, and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of accounts, including contractors, auto, trucking, and restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a book of business by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention.
  • Quote new and renewal business, leveraging industry knowledge and agency tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the agency's growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license, valid on the East Coast (excluding NY, NJ, WV).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an independent insurance agency.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and client relationship management.
  • Familiarity with Vertafore QQ and Momentum (NowCerts) software is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day

  • Engage in prospecting activities to identify potential clients and generate leads.
  • Conduct client meetings to assess insurance needs and present customized solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes for new and renewal business.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient handling of client accounts.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance industry knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
