The NA Promotions Specialist is responsible for becoming an expert on the Promotions features, enhancements, in-house Promotions tools across all brand sites for NA region. This role is also critical for helping to triage Production escalations, and will be the first point of contact for any promotion-related issues and clarifications. The Promotions Specialist leverages their project management skills to manage communication, planning, and delivery with the brand teams.
Key responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all existing promotions features and support brands on how best to utilize the existing capabilities in order to solve their business needs.
Evolve the brand-facing documentation around Promotions features and their capabilities.
Create and present documentation that simply and visually explain how to best utilize Promotions features.
Serve as an expert consultant to manage brand expectations within the confines of the feature scope.
Act as a quality gatekeeper for all brand deliverables, ensuring standards are met and that everything goes smoothly.
Partner cross-functionally to develop tactics for brand adoption of the Promotions features.
Foster working sessions with Brands to plan their promotional calendars.
Escalate issues/concerns immediately in order to avert promotional planning or production issues.
Complete all required reports as identified and required in a timely and accurate manner.
Have an in-depth understanding of eCommerce business and marketing needs of our different brands, and of the end-to-end customer experience.
Qualifications
5+ years experience in delivering/producing digital projects.
Bachelor’s Degree level or relevant experience in their appropriate discipline and management experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with various stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment; ready to roll up sleeves and be hands-on in troubleshooting.
Willingness to seek out answers when unclear, able to move through ambiguity.
Expert problem-solving abilities.
Superior organizational skills.
Comfortable with ongoing technological and organizational change.
Work experience with distributed teams a plus.
How does a Day look in the life of Promotions Specialist in NA
Work on all Emails and Jira tickets that are assigned to me and prioritize them accordingly.
Host daily standups to ensure Offer QA Requests are progressing in priority order. Collaborate with QA team and Promotions team on any impeded offers to ensure timely resolution.
Address all queries raised by brands for their planned promotions, and keep how-to documentation up to date.
Coordinate Weekly/Bi-weekly meetings with brands to understand their high velocity promotions and help set them in a timely manner.
Resolve any issues in setting up any offers.
Provide demos or training if required.
Attend demos and collaborate with the global promotions team to understand the developments and enhancements done on a regular basis.
Regularly survey with stakeholders and do retros to inspect and adapt.
Create reports and dashboards to provide transparency on how NA site promotions are operating, as well as to track opportunities for continuous improvement.
Closely monitor Live Site Issues channel for any promotion-related issues reported on production for all brands in NA region.

Prepare learnings on issues faced in the last holiday season.
Check for documentation on all offer setup related, evolve them as required.
Conduct training sessions for brands on demand.
