Part Time Guitar Photographer Job at Sweetwater in Fort Wayne

Job Requirements
Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio gear, is looking for a part‑time Photographer to join our Product Photography team. This position requires a knowledge of DSLR cameras and experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus but not required. A typical shift will be Monday – Friday and include photographing dozens of guitars for our website and catalog. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of (and preferably experience with) strobe lighting and will have prior experience photographing all types of products in different environments.

Available Shift Times
We have the following available Monday – Friday time slots open for this role:

12:30pm – 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for photographing various musical equipment and instruments coming through the Guitar Gallery

Responsible for setting up proper lighting equipment to capture the perfect image of our equipment

Responsible for collaborating with and communicating with assistants on photography needs

Work on a team of individuals to accomplish all goals

Job Qualifications

Prior experience with lighting equipment

Knowledge and understanding of DSLR cameras

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent multitasking skills

Team player with a positive attitude

Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision

Sharp mind with problem‑solving capabilities

Love for music and the product Sweetwater sells is a bonus

Physical stamina for constant kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting required for long periods of time while shooting

Interested candidates must submit a resume and portfolio of completed work with the application

Bonus Qualifications

Any experience with commercial or product photography, especially with musical equipment, is a big plus
